Deploying Dell Updates with Security Patch schedule?
I've been looking for this answer but haven't found anything really clear yet.
I already have:
- A working Security patch detect-only schedule
- A working Security patch deploy-only schedule
- Working Smart labels that clearly define: Windows patches, Dell drivers, Dell applications, etc.
- A working Dell Update detect-only schedule
Windows security patches have been going out fine and Dell Driver and Application updates are being detected just fine.
My question is: is it possible for the Dell Update deployment to be combined with my existing Security patch deploy-only schedule? I'd like users to have one deployment per week and not two.
I had hoped that I could just add my smart labels for the Dell driver updates and application updates to my security patch deploy-only schedule and they would all roll out together. That doesn't seem to be happening. Can I get it working this way or do I have to set up a separate Dell Update deploy-only schedule?

This not recommend, and I believe is not possible.
Dell patching uses a different module and set of tools.
In fact I would totally advise against mixing those two during the same time-frame.
