With the greatest of respect, you need to learn a *great deal* more about Windows, its file structures and systems before being let loose with a packaging role.

  • i know i dont hv much knowledge on windows and itz not my fault as m a begginer but m alwys curious 2 learn bout newthings, did i commit any mistake by asking the question,i kno u r very much xpreinced and hv huge of resource of knowledge , but it would hv been very kind of you if u shared d knowledge,i dint xpect such kind of reply from diz forum, i think d core intention of diz forum is to share knowledge, not to give advice - subhojit123 10 years ago
    • I think the core language of this forum is English, not text-speak. Spare a thought for those using the forum for whom English is not their first language.

Google "GAC +assembly" and "side by side +winsxs" and read what you find. You'll soon find the answer to your question.

Prior to that, though, please remove the completely irrelevant tags you have attached to your post, e.g. "Supporting Linux"! - anonymous_9363 10 years ago
