distributed application does not show up in add/remove programs

I have created a number of msi packages for distribution. If you manually run these Msi's they install perfectly and they are visible within add/remove programs. If we try to distribute them using SMS they install, and function as required but they don't show up in add/remove programs. The weird thing is that the MSI's are registered in HKLM/Software/Microsoft/CurrentVersion/Uninstall, they just won't show up.I made sure they have as much information as possible within the MSI, so that won't restrict them.
I am using Wise Package Studio 4.62, our client side is Windows XP Professional. The problem occurs on 3 separate msi's....
Can anyone give a clue as to what might be wrong?

when distrubuting the packge from SMS, there is a check box under advertisements><specific package> then right click and properties>Schedule that says if the client can run this themselves "Allow users to run the program independently of assignments". try checking it. I have had that work for me in the past.
