Do I need to recreate my transforms which I created using a Trial version of Wise Package studio 8?

Hi. I have created the transforms with the trial version. All are working OK.

Now I have bought a Professional licence, so do I have to recreate my .mst again so they don't expire?

TIA

Reading the 'Subject' line might help answer that question! :-)

@OP: MSIs/MSTs can't "expire": they're just OLE compound files. The application, however, can but, since you're now licensed-up, have no fear.

Actual VBScab, msi files compiled using the trial software, will expire and be unavailable after 30 days ;)

So if you made the MSI itself, you will need to use the WSI and compile it again :) (Atleast in Wise 8)

xandor is right for MSI. I can confirm that. They will expire after 30 days. But I have not repackaged here (Just made transforms).

However, since we got this contract after making only a few .mst, I will go ahead and recreate them all.

In case you were wondering, the softwares are LexisNexis CRM applications which all come with .msi file (+setup.exe)
We just compile .mst and give it in a batch file after testing for zero errors in the installation. As we cannot connect to the database servers, the testing is done by someone else. I will just recompile on this occasion though I would have liked to test the msi+mst combo for expiry.
