Does anyone use WiX for packaging?

If so, what do you think about it?

If not, what do you use?

Yes it's a broad topic but I like topics that generate conversation.

  • Do you find that you're limited using the InstEd! method over admin studio? Today is really the first day I've looked into WiX so I'm not tied to anything right now. - AFCUjstrick 10 years ago
    • InstEd just dosent have the nice GUI stuff, and its a pain in the ass if you need to add extra files etc. Just more leg work I guess, I prefer to use Adminstudio (Installshield) if I can.

Would say Adminstudio is the default packaging tool for enterprise repackaging/authoring. - rileyz 10 years ago
