Does managed install work for anyone?

I created a managed install for these stupid adobe updates, because you have to rev the darn versions.  Anyway, I can't get the package to download to the computer so it will even try install it. It is an MSP, it will install manually.  the ID=22, there should be a folder on the workstation with the associated file in it right?  So why is it not there.   please help me keep my sanity...

Have you tried using msiexec /update name.msp /qn to deploy?

I'll try anything at this point.  I could probably write a script, but this should work.  So I changed it I will wait to see if it works at next inventory.  Thanks for the response.

If you want to use a managed install to keep an application up to date then I would recommend using the full installer and not the MSP update. You can then target the MI to all of the computers that you want to keep up to date and then just update the MI to point to the latest software title once you have it in your appliance.

Except Adobe is only making an update not the full install.  I wrote a very basic script file - it works, so I'll use that, but thanks for the response

  • If you have a volume distribution license you should be able to download the full installer:
