Eg. Hirens Bootcd via SCCM PXE Boot
Hi, Just a quick one. I was thinking is it at all possible to package Hirens BootCD content or something similar and make it available at PXE boot for my Service Desk to have a handy set of tools.
I use SCCM for OS deployment but wondered if I left an available TS deployment with Hirens or LiveCD it would be of great use to my colleagues. Our PXE is password protected and once the technician gets to the task sequence menu they can go ahead and deploy available OS's or advance into a Hirens recovery toolkit CD.
Any thoughts or help on accomplishing this would be great
Neil

Not by default support.
This is possible but you need to adjust the WIMPE boot image that is default loaded.
And also update your WIM image can not be done by SCCM console anymore for it will remove your old one.
Perhaps you can try with DNSmasq and have multiple PXE boot servers (chain PXE loading).
So you first go to you Admin tools PXE with a time out that continues to default SCCM PXE.
But I never done this, just was working on something similair because my enviroment has multiple deployment systems (SCCM, Zenworks and Altiris).
If you think of something else I would like to hear it!?
