Elevated Install Flash Player 10.x
Our distribution tooling only uses the /qb switch when installing MSI's.
First the user is elevated (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Installer\AlwaysInstallElevated=1) Then the MSI installs, after installation the user is de-eleveated. (similar to GPO)
Ik works everytime, but when I download the "distributable" from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html I get the error from de Launch Condition.
"You must have administrative privileges to install Flash Player 10. Please log on with administrative privileges and try again."
So removed this Launch Condition from the MSI. But stil getting the error in a later fase of the flash player setup.
So removed the "LaunchConditions" also from the sequence tables, but still getting the error.
Can I "tune" the MSI so it will install elevated or should I just repackage flashplayer?
