Error 1605!
I have an application called Perfectview. I made this in to a msi file en distrubuted this trough group policy.
When i start the application after install it works fine. Problem starts when i try to double klik a Perfectview file (*.pv)
When i do i got the 1605 error This Action Is Only Valid for Products That Are Currently Installed.
When i start the application normally and open a *.pv file trough the application it works fine.
Could somebody please help?

My first guess would be that you've captured an existing msi and did not remove any windows installer entrypoints.
Could you give some more info:
Table related entries to the .pv extension
Event Viewer entries
verbose logging

This will principally be the 'Extension' table. If that table's empty, that's where the problem is.
