Has anyone had luck getting Premiere Elements 12 to install? I have a pretty busy windows 7 image including Adobe CS 6, a previous version of premiere elements 11, lots of user profile crust, so I was frustrated but not surprised when the Premiere elements 12 install crashed on me. Lots of chatter on this issue on the adobe forums, this is more or less the exact problem:

Spun up a clean copy of win7 x64 and was very surprised to obtain the same error. Even booted to safe-mode, enabled Windows installer and it STILL didn't work. So now Premiere elements just doesn't install on stock win7? What's that about?
