.exe containing an .msi

How can i know that an >exe contain a .msi?
can anyone tell me the ways?

Double click on the exe file and observer the %tmp% folder. You will have msi created.

Stop the Windows installer service and run the setup.xe file. If your package is a MSI packge, service should start.

Also if you have 7zip installed, you can usually right click the exe and select "extract"
