Finding Out What Effect My Changes Had?
Can anyone point me in the direction of a product that can give me feedback (preferably in real time) of levels of problems occurring at the desktop before and after I roll out new packages, software, patches etc? Getting accurate feedback from users is next to impossible!

You could take a look at this:
Intelligent Solutions - EdgeSight
It has agents that run on each PC and gives you feedback both statistically and as real-time alerts whenever something goes amiss in your desktop environment. Useful for highlighting potential virus threats too, as it knows what software is unidentified.
You can't change or update anything with it. It's strictly an info gathering and reporting tool. I think Microsoft have given it some good press.
