Flash 2004 seems to freeze on launch
This MSI used to work but the pc lab has new pc's out of the box from DELL.
it deploys fine, a priviledged user can launch fine. when i use a "student" account it acts like it is launching but seems to stop on loading the templates. i receive no errors and CPU is showing it is running the program.
I have tried re-doing the MSI with the same results.
has anyone had this happen to them? Any help would be appreciated.

i have found the answer.. i had to change permissions on some folders under system32 that Macrovision and Macromedia needed access too.
i added users groups for these users and gave them write permissions to the following folders
/windows/system32/config/systemprofile/application data/Macrovision/
and
/windows/system32/config/systemprofile/local settings/application data/Macromedia
hope this helps others
