FLEXnet Licensing error Device Central CS3
G'Day People,
More CS3 issues on my XPSP2 machines (they're definitely off my Chrissy list now).
My GP deploy pumps out all the Adobe Addons in 1 hit. All installs succeed with no errors. However...
I've got the "Licensing for this product has stopped working" for one of the Adobe Addons in the CS3 applications when opened.
I'm pretty sure it's something to do with the Flexnet licensing service and I'm hitting a wall trying to fix it.
I've tried renaming the Flexnet folder in All Users\appdata and recreating the cache.db in the Common Files\Adobe\PCD folder. Also set the Flexnet service to Automatic, rebooted etc. When the Device Central screen is first initialised the reg keys are not being created in HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root\Legacy_Flexnet_Licensing_Service.
Copying the reg keys there taken from a CD installation didn't resolve the problem.
I'm taking InstallWatch snaps of the CD install trying to find the component that's causing it to fail.
Any advice on this would be much appreciated,
TIA
Wayne
