Software Deployment

A GPO is sent to a user to install FrontPage 2000. The same user now gets the FrontPage 2002 GPO. It first uninstalls FP 2000 and installs FP 2002. Once the user tries to run FP 2002, they get a message about a FP 2002 feature installing. However it runs into an error and shuts down. If the user does not have FP 2000 installed previously, FP 2002 runs normally. I am thinking not all of FP 2000 is uninstalled. I have tried searching the registry once FP 2000 is removed and deleting all remaining FrontPage keys and values, FP 2002 still does not work.

Has anyone else run into this error or have an idea why this happens. I noticed that Office XP features are installed\reinstalled in the process. Don't know if this could be a cause.
