Gett'n ready to dive into packaging the whole Adobe CS Suite

Should be fun stuff. From what I've read on the forum so far it looks like some of the packages are still needing the uninstall information for 'personalization' like Photoshop Elements did.

Any other major gotchyas?

I've also been tasked to offer the individual packages either seperately or as one big bundle. I plan on just chaining the individual packages for the 'bundle'. [8D]

I successfully repackaged Photoshop CS (Wise PB 4.61) and posted some info on it just last week, in case you're interested:

Not sure if any of this is new to you - my info deals with the typelibrary.tlb advertisement issue you get during the install and the personalization problem you run into when you run the app. Hope it helps...

Thanks! I'll check it out.

I was reading the docs and came across this:

Adobe Creative Suite must be installed using the installer application included with the Installer 1 CD-ROM; for more information on how to install please refer to the How To Install.htm

The installs seem to run just fine from the individual Setup.exe's. I guess it won't matter when doing an MSI capture anyways.

Thanks Again!

InDesignCS went smooth. The setup capture grabbed a lot of HK_CLASSES_ROOT\interface keys that I had to pull out and then I un-advertised the shortuts. Works like a champ!
