Guidance for Application compatibillity reports

Hi Everyone,
When we get "Installshield Isscript Engine" packages for ACR, how should we test these packages?
There is only test which we know:- Install main application which has for e.g. Isscript Engine 9 as dependency, if installation goes fine then yes, Isscript works fine......but when we get only ISscript package to test, then is there any criteria?
