HELP Please with Printer Driver Replacement Issue
So here's my head scratcher.
While piloting Office 2010 in our environment, several documents created in previous versions of Office crashed. We found that the version of the Lexmark PCL driver was causing the issue, upgrading the printer driver resolved it.
Our printers are setup locally with IP based printing. So I need to find a way to script the driver update. There are about 900 PC's that have this older driver installed.
I've setup DPinst.exe to preinstall the driver, but is there a way to use the existing installed printer and just replace the old driver with a new one?
