hi i am getting a error
hi i am trying to install toad for oracle. i have repackaged .exe and created msi. and i am launching the msi but while installing it is showing error of 1935. its saying an error occured during the installation of assembly component. so any remedy for solving this kind of error.

Why Are you capturing the install?
NEVER, EVER capture an installation that's containing MSI(s).
Extract the MSI from the .exe and use that instead.

how i can extract the msi from exe? because they have given me exe and what i did i just repackaged the exe using repackager tool of admin studio.. and that directly gave me toad msi. .. - shilesh1982 12 years ago

Look what I wrote in your other post on the subject.
(use the /extract switch. "setup.exe /extract"
It's NOT recomended to capture an installation already containing MSI(s). - andemats 12 years ago

You will have to obtain a tool that can show your file acces on your box during install so that you can se what is inside setup.exe something like filemon.exe to see activity and where the MSI is unwrapped.
