Goto Dialog section

Identify the window where you will enter the license key

Identify the PROPERTY name which is responisble for holding the license key

During installation, Pass this PROPERTY with its value through command line

What program do you want to do this with?

Also, I really would recommend removing the license number from your question. We really don't need that information to help, and it isn't normally a good idea to have that available to the public.

  • i have msi and mst and i want to install the app throgh command line....like msi,mst and license key...is it possible to install app through command line?..... - shilesh1982 12 years ago
    • How to pull this off will be application specific, there are product key related properties that are standard but few applications actually use them. - bkelly 12 years ago
    • Look through your property table for the likes if PIDKEY, LICENSEKEY. There is lots on Google about it such as http://www.tacticalsoftware.com/support/tech-notes/unattended-install-cmd-line.htm, and but as bkelly says the Property will be Application Specific. Might not be a bad idea to have a look through vendors Custom Actions also. - oreillyr 12 years ago
  • if you have dialogs in the MSI where you can input that key, look at the Control table in the MSI, identify the matching field, and see which property is linked to it. - pjgeutjens 12 years ago
