HKCU healing in DevStudio

Man, I am just having a nightmare with this.

I thought that CU reg key healing would be enabled by default, but with all my repackaged apps after I do test installs as admin and log on as a user nothing is there.

Can someone please list a foolproof method of ensuring that HKCU settings are installed when the user starts the app? I've tried diff ways of advertising, setting up components, etc... I think it's just that I've been looking at it so long now that it's all blurred and nothing makes sense. [:(]

Help...

All good...finally sorted it!

For some reason nothing had been flagged as the key file in the CU reg data...so I just created a dummy reg key called HKCU_chk and assigned it a binary value of 1 (name and value are irrelevant) and made that the default key path.

Working now! Woohoo! [:)]
