How to create and access mapped drive in software package
Hi guys,
Is anyone knowledgeable with regard of How to create and access mapped drive in software package? I actually did it, It functions when i created my package and install it locally to may host pc. yet if this package will be installed thru system context it does not work. Hope any of you can advise. thanks. :D

By default, the local System account has no network access whatsoever. You need to re-think your solution.
It is not a good solution to integrate mapping of drives in the package/script. It is better to do it through logon scripts.
You can get Username and Password through command line using PUBLIC Property.. You can use them in VBScript to map any drive..
Deployment team (They will be having access.. For Example: SCCM Administrator) need to provide the UserName and Password through command line at the time of deployment..
