Software Deployment

When I install my application on a Windows 8 Professional (Retail version) pc, all of my shortcuts end up being pinned to the start screen for all users.

Has anyone figured out how to prevent this ?

My group and shortcuts ARE being created properly on the "All Apps" screen.

From my reading, on the Internet, it seems many folks have this same issue.

I have tried the shortcut shell property, (as described in the Windows 8 SDK) {9F4C2855-9F79-4B39-A8D0-E1D42DE1D5F3}, 12, but it doesn’t have the desired effect.

Nothing errors out.

And the verbose MSI log looks like the Windows Installer recognizes the above shell value.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
