Can you imagine the forum posts on it though? Something like:
Guys, I'm having a problem with my persuader install, when I run it normally with interaction (wave it in people's faces) it works fine but whenever I try to install it silently (sneak up behind someone) nothing happens!! I have added the VICTIM=ReallySuppress property but it didn't help ...
I think you are being overly optomistic about how the call for help would read. More like - "My install fails, please help, experts".

I answer my best to the people who needs support on packaging. After all, this forum is meant for that, isnt it?
Well, yes and no in my opinion.
If I went to -say- a C++ programming forum, and I asked how to execute an .exe file, would that be acceptable in your opinion?
There's a certain level of autonomous study we should be allowed to expect from people frequenting this site, considering the fact that the job of packager implies at least some affinity with the realm of computers...

It is but one expects at least a basic level of knowledge from posters, as this definitely isn't an online tutorial.
@OP, use Google to look up the error and why it's present then use your packaging knowledge [pauses] to fix it. Note, however, that you can get into circular fixes, where fixing an error causes up a new error. Also note that some errors simply aren't worth pursuing, although some brain-dead clients insist on removing all of them. That is when The Packager's Persuader - a tool which closely resembles a baseball bat - is brought into play.

Can I have nails sticking out of mine?Packaging customisations require you to create what's called a transform. In your transform, add a public property called "ADDLOCAL" with the value "NAILS" or, if you need industrial-strength persuasion to be brought into play, use the value "NAILS_WITH_CURARE".
