InDesign CS5 - Post Install issue with Welcome screen- update
Built My Package using the Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition.
Post Install issue
Now when I launch it - it comes up with Proxy log in screen. But nothing opens
I think there is a file that you modify to fix this issue - but I can't remember where it is or find my notes on it.
Anybody know which one I'm talking about - I used it on another Adobe app but haven't found that yet
Update--------------
Seems that this is part of the Welcome screen. It wants to display Flash Player stuff from internet
Found you can customize the Welcome screen, if no internet access by modifying this file.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe InDesign CS5\Presets\StartPage\en_US\config.xml
But I don't wanted it to access the internet at all - so I tried removing that folder - which didn't help
This is the file from initial query that controls the welcome screen
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe InDesign CS5\Plug-Ins\PMPack\PMWelcomeScreen.apln
But if you remove it - then no welcome screen shows at all.
This may not be so bad since the welcome screen sometimes cause - crashed or excessive start-up times.
