Install Adobe Master Collection CS4 components
Hi,
I have setup a core or base build with the Adobe Master Collection CS4 which is pushed out to every PC. I have not installed the entire suite on the core image. I want to now create an xml file that will install the remaining components for the Master collection for some machines.
I have followed the instructions provided in the below document to create the initial install which works a treat.
http://www.adobe.com/aboutadobe/openoptions/pdfs/manualenterprisedeployment_cs4_help.pdf
I then thought I would run up the installer using the same "setup.exe --record=1" on a machine with the partial install to create an xml file that will install the remaining components but no xml files were created.
I could remove the Master Collection and re-install with all components with a batch script. But that seems to me an inefficient way to do this.
Is there something I'm doing wrong or am I approaching this from the wrong angle?
Cheers
Scott
