Install Oracle Client 19c with SCCM fails
We are using the ADT for Software Deployment with SCCM.
When I run my package with normal Admin Rights bei klicken the Deploy-Application.exe the Oracle Client installs just fine.
But when I try to install the same package through SCCM Software Center, it fails with Error INS-08802.
[INS-08802] Unable to instantiate the View class referred by View ID 'SummaryUI'.
Cause- The given class do not represent a valid View class or an unexpected error occured while instantiating it.
Action- No additional information available.
Summary - java.lang.NullPointerException
Oracle Support turned me down, telling me that this is not their Problem if the Installation works without SCCM.
I do not know who to turn to any more. Maybe you can help.

If anyone is interessted for the soltution:
I deactivated the Scheduler Agend and the setup works fine.
With GUI - no Problem, silent only without the scheduler Agend!
If you're installing the Oracle 64-bit client, try checking the box to use the SCCM 32-bit process to install the 64-bit oracle client - sounds silly I know.
I have found with some Java based installers (not sure if Oracle is one of them) that there is a memory issue during install.
Give it a try, nothing to lose.

Thak you for your answer. I read your Tip already in an other post. I did not work for me. That is really a pitty. The Oracle Support is not willing to help at all....
