Installation Workflow and tools
I want to have a basic understanding of the installation workflow starting from an application development to the application being installed in a customer's site using different ways such as CD, internet, etc. I have seen many terms such as distribution, package deployment, repackaging, patch but don't know which part of the installation workflow they belong to.
I also want to know what the different types of tools are for: distribution, imaging, repacking, testing, migration, setup authoring, scripting.
