Installer Error 1918 ODBC
Hi all,
I'm trying to script the ODBC Driver for Oracle 9i Basically I'm ending up with installer error 1918. We have used Wise 4.6 and when that did not work we used Wise 5.1 on Windows XP SP1.
All messages that I can find are about removing the ODBC driver from the ODBC tab and make sure the registry key's and files are in the script.
We placed a call at Wise (Altiris) but they don't respond. Hopefully somebody her can help me.

Hi All,
It's solved by Altiris. The solution is:
1) Installed the ODBC Driver.
2) Export from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODBC\ODBCINST.INI the driver key
3) Export HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODBC\ODBCINST.INI\ODBC Drivers\ the driver String.
4) copy the corresponing DLL's to the directory. (You can find the right directory in the previuos registry keys)
That's all.
