Installing Open Text Imaging DesktopLink 9.7.0 - 64 bit on Windows 7 64 bit
Hi,
I'm currently attempting to install Open View DesktopLink 9.7.0 - 64 bit.msi onto windows 7 x64 machines. The following errors pop up during the install:
Error in function: dAddPortMonitor, Error code: 14001
Error during call cInstallBlackIcePrinter! Error code: 2
I have installed the msi with a verbose log but after clicking ok on each error the log only shows a return value of 1 for the relevent custom actions. The msi installs successfully but the pdf printer and tiff printer only appear after I run a repair. The tiff and pdf printer driver are provided by Black Ice but I'm unable to find any information about the two error codes.
Have you guys had any experience with either OpenView DesktopLink or Black Ice printer drivers?
Cheers,
Crazy8

Im in the same boat, except that my install is erroring on on 2 different custom actions.. "my_SetIxosTemp" and "myCheckTIFFComp". The first one is marked to continue on Error, but the TIFFComp kills the install with a 1603.
The 32 bit install works just fine, but of course its a different MSI than the 64bit version.
