In admin studio go to User Interface - > Dialogs >
go down to installwelcome. click on behaviour , select next then delete all the entries on the right hand side table and add a new entry
Event________________ Argument___________________ Condition
EndDialog ____________ Return ___________________ 1
it should not display any dialogs.

I want to do the same thing. I want to create a switchless msi. So when I execute the msi, it will install without any dialog. I know how the commandline switches work, but I want to do it without using switch.
By default you'll get dialogue boxes when running an MSI. Why do you want to do it without the switches? These are really the only way to get it to silently install.

Nothing. I'm just curious. [:D] I saw a repacked msi of Macromedia FlashPlayer, and it doesn't show any dialogs. It installs automatically and silently when I run the msi. I think it's repacked using Wise, and I know Wise has the feature to hide a dialog. But I don't have Wise, and I'm just wondering if I can do that with InstallShield.
