Installshied response file

Hi,

I am creating an .ISS file for installshield setup.exe.

I know the command to create this iss file is:

setup.exe /r /f1"c:\test\Install.iss"

and command to run this setup.exe silently with this iss file is:

setup.exe /s /f1"c:\test\Install.iss"

I don't want to run my setup.exe silently because I want to see if .iss is correctly applying to setup.exe with all the changes made.

Can someone please suggest what will be the correct command to run setup.exe with the .iss file NON-silently.

Many Thanks,

I don't use IS but have you tried it as "setup.exe /f1 "c:\test\Install.iss"? In addition, you can try "setup.exe /?" to get the valid switches.

Yes, I had used setup.exe /f1 "c:\test\Install.iss" it is not applying the .iss file correctly. looks liks this is not the required command.

no, setup.exe /? didn't help ...

iss is used for silent setups. it's not designed otherwise.

sorry but it's not doable.
