installshield property issue(s)
Hi,
Im trying to create a silent install script for an applicatiopn called TAU by telelogic.
This application uses wise for windows installed - so i am running the install with /r to record tthe settings.
When then using /s to make the install silent however, the "license" dialogue box still shows. There is an entry for this in the iss file, however not enough information to complete this - so it obviously is not being recorded correctly.
1) How do i find the name of the proprty i need to create in the iss file?
Next up - a more general installshield question
When extracting the msi's from the installshield setup, what are my options for packaging these files - i have tried, unsuccessfully, to create an mst based on the extracted msi.
When trying to run a scripted install from here, what is the answer file i can use and how can i find out the parameters i can pass in?
I had a squiz at all the proprties with Orca, but wasnt sure how to plug these in.
Thanks.
