Internal error : 2607 (Media table)
Hello can anyone give me some more information about Media tables, in an MSI.
Searched the net a bit but couldn't find a thing, probably i did not searched enough [8|].
But still if anyone has a bit more information about error 2607 & media tables please let me know.

If it is a transform that you are getting this error for ? did you add any files to the msi using the transform ?
delete the old mst and the .cab files and recreate the transform. and make sure in media table entries the "LastSequence" number matches the max "Sequence" number of File table.

It was an MSI that contained only HKCR keys and no files, found a solution with adding a file that the MSI used to fill out in the media table.
Kind of a dummy file. Somehow they error was because the media table was kinda empty.
