Software Deployment

I might be missing something obvious with this so hopefully someone can direct me or explain. When I package and upload a new version of Java on Microsoft Intune I supersede the previous version of Java. The original packaged Java shows all the devices it's installed on under the Device status pie chart and in the list of Device install status. When I leave the supersedence for a few days and then check, there are no devices showing in either place for the newer software but has installed on the device when I check it manually. What am I missing? Why wouldn't it be showing in chart or list?
