ISSetup.dll CA Function names

Hi All,

I'm working on a package with a list of 9 custom actions "Call DLL From Installation". The DLL is, "ISSetup.dll" and Function Names are f1-f9
Am I right to assume that f1-f9 are pre-defined within ISSetup.dll and if so, can someone provide either a link for the explanations of these functions? OR... Does ISSetup.dll call scripts written by the packager or whoever, whereas the person creating the package created a bunch of scripts and labelled them f1-f9 and ISSetup.dll simply calls the code contained in each function.

I attempted to google this info but couldn't find anything.

Thanks for your insight.

Believe I found the answer... It's the later of the two. This installshield is a load of crapola.

Yes, it's usually the latter.
However; during install some "supporting" files are extracted and usually there is an .INI file describing the f# function names.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
