Issues with Server Name Change
Hello,
We started K1000 on a test environment which we ended up converting to our production environment since we had deployed a few agents already and we changed the name of the server. Somehow the new agent is still trying to connect to the old server. Our first test server name was k1000 now we changed it to helpdesk but all the agents are still pointing to k1000. We added a DNS record for k1000 which forwards to helpdesk ip so window agents are working fine but Mac agents are not connecting to helpdesk server. I checked the amp.conf file on mac agents and the host=k1000.domain.com. I can manually change this to new server name and it works fine but does anyone why the agent is still picking up k1000 automatically even though the server doesn't exist anymore?
Thanks
