JInitiator 1.3.1.28-Changing JAR cache settings location
Hi All,
I am currently repackaging Oracle JInitiator 1.3.1.28 and have been asked to change the JAR cache settings location from its default C:\Documents and Settings\%USER%\Oracle JAR cache to C:\WCC Apps.
I have successfully captured this and a file(properties13128) is appended. This file is installed to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\.jinit. This works fine as administrator.
When i log on as a user this \.jinit directory does not exist. So i launch Control Panel where the JInitiator Contol Panel icon is and check the JAR cache settings location. This action creates the .jinit folder but without the file properties13128, also the JAR cache settings locations remains at the default. If i make the change manually to C:\WCC Apps and Apply the file is then created in the .jinit folder.
Hope i have explained correctly. Any help appreciated
