Landesk issue
hi,
there is an issue regarding a LanDesk script. I made an MSI, which calls a VBScript, which performs some uninstallation tasks of a setup based application. Everything was working fine and i even created cmd files that would run msiexec on the system and install the application and run the script.
However, when i made a Landesk script to perform the same task, the uninstallation script did not run. I have embedded the uninstallation script within the MSI, so there is no question of invoking the script using Landesk directly. But still, the uninstallation of the setup based application does not occur. This, though, is working perfectly fine if i run the command line.
Any known issues regarding Landesk? what is the solution to this? why did this at all happen, since i am only running the MSI from the LanDesk script....
wierd problem...
please help.
thanks,
regards,
