Launch conditions using WPS 5.5

Hi all,

Wonder if anyone can help here.

I have an MSI that requires a prerequisite to be installed before running. At the moment the MSI runs a System Search and displays a message as the launch condition.

This is a little untidy though and I would like the MSI to actually call an EXE file that will call the prerequisite and install it if required be fore continuing with the MSI install.

Does anyone have any sample scripts I can look at.

Currently the Launch Condition is an If statement under "User Interface" within the MSI Script of my WSI.

I get the gist of whta is required just stuggling to get it into practice!!! My exe works fine for calling the other MSI and Transform files for the install.

Thanks to all who respond........
Jim

I have managed to fin dthe flaw in my logic!!!

And had too many conditions in my IF statement.

I am happy to report that with an IF NOT Installed then install command the prereq now gets installed like a charm.

Thanks to me then!!!!
