Looking to update adobe flashplayer 15 activex and plugin to version 16. Is npapi just a name change for plugin starting with v16?
I've downloaded the plugin from Adobe site and installed using the msi. However, when I go to view it in program and features is shows as npapi instead of plugin like previous versions.

it's the same. just another way from adobe to make easy things difficult.

That is the plug-in version. I know it is displaying in that fashion as of Flash Player 16.
