Macromedia Flash deploy: REPCDLG.OCX error
hi,
i have a lan with win2003 dc and several xp clients. I deployed Macromedia Flash Player 9 (.msi) via group policy 2 months ago. This gpo was applied to WORKSTATIONS OU where all the workstations are placed. Everything was fine and flash was installing perfectly on all workstations. Now since yesterday im getting following error when user logons to these workstations.
I will be grateful if someone can share their ideas what could be the problem.

I don't knwo for sure but I suspect that you omitted to turn off the automatic update option. Flash is now trying to update itself and either the file in question is locked, the registration information it's trying to write/delete is absent or has permissions assigned to it. Something along those lines, anyway.
If that's the case, as an alternative to triggering an estate-wide uninstall followed by an edited install, you should consider building a package which contains the relevant changes to turn auto-update off. That information is all here on AppDeploy. Search the 'Package KB'.
