I'm looking for some sort of software / script (PHP, ASPX, ...?) that is basically a glorified calendar that allows my IT team to schedule planned maintenance windows and have a central view of all those outages. The reason why I'm saying glorified calendar is because one of key things I'm looking for it to do is to email automatic company-wide notifications, say in 1 hour, 30 minutes, 15 minutes and at the start saying "Maintenance is about to start on blah blah blah".

Or if it's an unplanned outage, then I just add it with current time, and it instantly emails out everyone that "We have a server down.. "

Is there something like that available out there? Or any scheduling/calendaring system with email notifications that I can just customize myself?

Prefer it not to be a plugin of some bigger system, more of standalone tool.
