managed install specifying Everyone
I am trying to deploy an application in msi format.
1. need to specify "everyone" as it defaults to Just Me
2. if possible check for visual C++ for example and install that first if not there before installing primary application.

Thanks for the reply. I just mean if i have an app that depends on .net or whatever can i bundle these two into one managed install and have .net or whatever install first? Thanks again - clasha 11 years ago

Technically you can do that, but it's not a recommended practice. Manage the installs separately and you'll be able to manage your environment much easier in the future. - vjaneczko 11 years ago

Use the command below, just change it to what you need.
msiexec /i NameOfYour.msi /qn ALLUSERS=1 /l*vx .\NameofLogFile.log
Not sure about C++ bit as I dont use KACE

There's a bazillion versions of C++, but you should identify which one this app needs and install it as a dependency, removing the need to add any logic to check for its existance.
