Mass Notification system to users

So we are trying to setup a Mass Notification alert system to all employees about different county updates.   For example every 2 hours a message goes off and says get off the computer chair and stretch you have been sitting to long etc.  We have the Dell Kace but the alert system is used for emergencyes and server reboots etc and we dont want to confuse users.  So i was wondering if anyone had a solution weather its  a script or a nice open source software i can use to send out custom friendly reminder messages to users.

  • There's a rather nice HTA knocking about which displays text from a file. Being an HTA, you can edit the code to suit your requirements e.g. using a corporate bitmap logo as the page background, etc., etc. - anonymous_9363 11 years ago
  • I found this knocking about when I needed to warn users about something. You can change the bitmap as well.

Many companies your Desktop Alert (www.desktopalert.net) as a tool for similar requirements.  The system is available hosted or on promise.  :-)
