Media Player 10 EULA for "default user"
Hi all, this one is killing me...
After WMP10 installs, there is a small "wizard" that displays the EULA and asks for preferences. To get past this I simply need to set this reg key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Preferences[Accepted Privacy Statement] =1.
I have a script that loads every user's hive, makes the change, and unloads it, but something is happening with the "default user" profile. When a new user profile is created, the above value magically gets set to 0, prompting for input. Other changes made to the "default user" profile have not been changed.
Any ideas on this? Or, is there a simple way to disable the EULA/Preferences dialog for users that have not logged on the PC before?
Thanks,
Rich
