Software Deployment

WE are packaging the Microsoft Access 2002 msi. with company standards using ORK tool. AFter doing this, we are doing conflict management using Wise PAckaging Studio 5. It gives lots of file and registry conflicts with Windows XP (SOE). We would like to know whether to carry conflict resolution with SOE. When we posted this with Wise, they are recommending not to do the conflict management for the microsoft products as this would be carried out during installation by giving new versions for the installation files. We would like to confirm this through Microsoft. Is it not required to do the conflict management for the microsoft products with the other softwares. Kindly clarify my queries with detailed information. I hope that I have explained my problem crearly.
