Missing aas file

Anyone came accross thsis before?
The error message in the event viewer is "The system could not find the file specified". This prevented an application to be installed either a machine assigned or user published package. The corresponding aas file is missing from SYSVOL on Domain Controllers although the deployment package still exist in AD.
