MS FronPage 2002 Upgrade
Howdy all, I'm trying to package MS Front Page 2002 Upgrade.
Everything goes fine untill you try to get rid of the "Activate Product" shortcut.
If I remove the shortcut from the menu I get a silent install which is great but then I
get errors when trying to start any of the other shortcuts.
Selecting the frontpage.exe, for example, brings up the ever popular "fix it, delete it or cancel" window because it can't find the executable.
I set the register product section in the property manager view to yes.
It no longer asks me to register this product and that I only have 49 more chances to
this. I still can't get rid of the Activate Product key.
The Acitivate Product shortcut is tied to the Program Files/~/office10/osa.exe file.
Is this file some how tied to the Frontpage.exe file or some common ini file?
If I package this thing without any changes to the menu and activate the product will it then ignore any further attempts to register when selecting that shortcut?
