MSI File Location

Should I be storing all of my MSI files on a folder somewhere on my K2000?  For example, I would create a folder called MSI that resides in the same location as drivers, drivers_postinstall and restore.  When I run my post-install task, I get an error "cannot find file" and get a return code 2.

Thanks!

  • Do you keep your MSI files in a single location on your network share? I just want to know what's "best practice" -- thanks! - lnovak 9 years ago
    • I attach and upload them for the k2000 that is standard practice - SMal.tmcc 9 years ago
    • for manual installs we do but for both the k1000 and k2000 we upload them to the tasks/mi's - SMal.tmcc 9 years ago
